Founded and led by Rebecca Brennan-Brown, we’re a team of wedding planners based in London, working across the UK (and the occasional destination if it’s really tasty).
We plan our weddings collaboratively, and our priority is planning super fun, unpretentious weddings for our clients.

We often tell our couples that sometimes it’s easier to start with what you don’t like, so here’s a list of ours:

Rebecca Brennan-Brown
why I chose this job
When I was 15, I chaired the school prom committee and organised a James Bond themed summer ball, and since then I’ve never wanted to do anything else. It’s the nuts and bolts of the planning I enjoy the most. To me everything is like a giant puzzle that I have to work out.
But mixing that with getting to know some wicked couples and make their days into realities, that’s what I love. Normally after two or three meets, and a few more glasses of wine, I start to really understand who you are and what you’re about. That’s when the fun really starts and I get the most job satisfaction.
my experience
I’ve worked in weddings & events since I was 16. I started as an assistant, and worked my way up to Creative Director of a well known London agency. In 2019, took this business full time, and have enjoyed every minute of it, pandemic and all.
I studied art & design at UCA which provided an invaluable base for wedding design, and am currently studying for a degree in business & marketing. I love a challenge. From beaches in Costa Rica to 900 people in London, it all gives me a buzz!
outside of work
I live in Kent with my partner Fraser, and work partly from our home office, and partly from our London base. Stevie, my dog, is my favourite thing on the planet. Taking her for a long walk or bike ride and ending up in a pub is pretty much my perfect Sunday.
I love music, and am constantly told off for playing The Cure, Fleetwood Mac and Arctic Monkeys on repeat. Going our for food with friends and good wine makes my soul happy, and is the quickest way to my heart!

Eleanor Leigh
why I chose this job
I’ve always loved all things planning and organising, seeing everything come together and people enjoying the event is the best bit about it. It’s such a pleasure to help couples plan their big days. My favourite part of a wedding day are the speeches, watching the couples nearest and dearest laugh, cry and cry with laughter – such a heartwarming and special moment!
my experience
I started my career as an event steward/hostess, from this experience I knew that I wanted to be more involved behind the scenes with the planning of it all. I went on to work in corporate events for 4 years, then took a course in business marketing and wedding planning. A couple of months after completing my studies I joined the Get Wed team and haven’t looked back since!
outside of work
I live in a seaside town in East Sussex and enjoy going for walks with friends and family. I love listening to live music – any opportunity to have a dance and sing! I’m also cat obsessed and would own a cat sanctuary if I could.

Ellie’s attention to detail is next to none, the small things are always considered. I love people with a corporate background because the wedding industry sometimes lacks professionalism, and Ellie has bought that logistical knowledge that’s so important to weddings.

why I chose this job
It really doesn’t get much better than watching our couples say I do, then celebrate a fun-filled day that we have planned alongside them. A favourite moment of mine is 100% the speeches. If you watch closely enough, there I will be in the corner a little choked up with a tear in my eye, I just can’t help it!
my experience
I started working alongside Rebecca three years ago, and although this is my first job working within the wedding industry, my experience and exposure have been extensive and quickly developed. It doesn’t get much quicker than looking after 150 guests and being handed the keys to a red Lamborghini on your first day…
outside of work
Born & Bread in Essex, my top favourite things in life are beach clubs, discovering new restaurants and exploring different cities. At any given opportunity to dress up, be with friends and family and pop a bottle of Prosecco open and I am there. Celebrations are what I live for!

why I chose this job
I mean, who doesn’t love a wedding? Creating a day that’s just for that couple and all about them is such a joy. My favourite part is without a doubt when couples are announced into the room before the start of the wedding breakfast and their adoring fans go wild.
my experience
Since deciding I wanted to ‘do weddings’ in 2014, I’ve been fortunate enough to work in a few different areas of the industry. Alongside being a freelance wedding planner, I also did two & a half years as Assistant Manager of a luxury bridal shop and four & a half years as a Wedding Co-Ordinator/General Manager of a wedding venue before joining the Get Wed team!
outside of work
Hailing from the North West of the country, I now reside in Kent with my husband and curly cockapoo. Generally living life one ‘dog-walk-to-a-pub’ at a time for an Aperol Spritz in any season.

Helen is one of the most no nonsense, get sh*t done people I’ve ever met. Helen has buckets of experience and brings so much joy and fun to our team that literally exudes out of her, but is practical and sensitive too.
